Inspirations from an artsy teen

Remember, I mentioned awhile back that I had the pleasure of meeting Kathy Cano-Murillo (aka the Crafty Chica) and the rest of her family, during Kathy's Spread the Sparkle tour? Kathy's entire family is extremely nice — but also talented!

Recently, I noticed that Kathy's husband, Patrick, has started his own website. His artwork is truly amazing!

Then, while at Maker Faire this weekend, I picked up a business card (from the ILovetoCreate booth) that belonged to Kathy's daughter, Maya. The card is brightly decorated (partially by hand!) - and made of recycled materials to boot!

I finally sat down to check out Maya's website today and it is SO amazing! Her videos crack me up. Seriously funny. I love this girl!

In the YouTube video below, Maya shows us how to make a tie dye shirt, using Tulip One-step Fashion Dye.

Keep up the good work, Maya!
